Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

We proudly acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Darug land and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We extend a warm welcome to all Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people, believing that by respecting this land, we are united as one community.

Coreen School caters for approximately 70 secondary students from years 5-12. We offer a range of life skills curriculum programs. Additionally, students in our Tutorial program are jointly enrolled with a mainstream high school and may participate in mainstream curriculum.

Our school is dedicated to providing an excellent learning environment. We are well-resourced with specialised classrooms, a gym, a swimming pool, and four school buses to support our many community-based programs. Located in Blacktown, we are actively involved in the local education network and work closely with partners like the Nurringingy Local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group.

We look forward to partnering with you!

Michael Cruickshank, Principal of Coreen School
